Riffat Rani is a feminist and journalist of district Sargodha. He has been working as a human rights activist since 2004. She has been working as Bureau chief of Rohi Television and Incharge of all branches of Hawa Shelter Home, Sargodha. She is also a leading crisis management cell. She has strong communication skills. She has contested in election-2005 as a candidate position of city Nazim.
She has a goal to empower women and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women. She has struggled to remove the subordinate position of women. In Sargodha, She is known as the voice of women and always support the victim of gender-based violence. Her mission to assist women and their children in crisis by providing a safe, temporary home, support services, and hope through empowerment, resulting in self-sufficient clients who return to the community and to help break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness.
She is working on women’s economic empowerment to create an enabling environment for the rehabilitation of ultra-poor, needy children, youth, and GBV families. Its aim is to improve income generation opportunities by enabling skills development, enhancement of basic business and financial skills, women entrepreneurial development, and employability through the promotion of a competitive skills training market.
She is a general secretary of Star Welfare Organization and an executive member of Electronic Media Club Sargodha, and a strong affiliation with national and international organizations.
