Lost and Found: A Silent Plea

Lost and Found: A Silent Plea

On the afternoon of February 13, 2025, a distress call was made to Sargodha’s Sadar Police Station. The caller reported a young woman, estimated to be between 23 and 27 years old, wandering alone in Chak No. 28 North. She was unable to speak, unable to remember, and unable to explain where she had come from. Her vacant eyes carried a silent plea for help.

When the police arrived, they found her in a disoriented state. She had no identification, no belongings—only the clothes on her back and the confusion in her eyes. Who was she? Where did she belong? There were no answers.

With no way to trace her family, the officers took her to Hawa Shelter Home, a refuge for the lost and abandoned, operated by Star Welfare Organization. At around 3 PM, she was placed in their care. The shelter workers welcomed her with kindness, offering food, comfort, and a safe place to rest. Yet, the mystery of her identity remained unsolved.

Now, her story reaches out to the world—a silent call for recognition. If anyone knows her, if anyone can reunite her with the family she may have forgotten, they are urged to come forward.

Until then, she waits—a lost soul, hoping to be found.
